Towne 217, Richard D. Forman Active Learning Classroom (Lectures on Tuesday and Thursday)
This classroom is located on the second floor of the Towne Engineering building, and it is part of the Penn Engineering Quad.
This classroom is an Active Learning Classroom (ALC) which means it is designed to facilitate active learning and student engagement. The classroom is designed to promote collaboration and interaction among students and between students and the instructor. The classroom is equipped with movable furniture, multiple displays, and whiteboards to facilitate group work and discussions.
Richard D. Forman, a Penn Engineering alumnus and current member of the School’s Board of Overseers, generously funded this classroom and remains actively engaged in supporting our mission.
